The Wentworth Herd
The Wentworth Dairy herd is made up of Registered Ayrshire & Jersey cows. The herd is primarily grass fed, grazing from early spring thru late fall on the lush Pennsylvania farmland. The cows diet is also supplemented with natural minerals ensuring their health and the most wholesome milk possible. During winter their diet is additionally supplemented with dry hay and corn silage. They drink fresh clean water and are milked twice daily year-round by the Wentworth Family. We have never used rBST (growth hormones). Today's Wentworth Dairy upholds a historic Wentworth tradition of respecting and valuing our animals.
"We raise all of our cows from birth. They all have names and we all know them on a first name basis. We strive to keep them healthy, happy and disease free. We have never used BST or any other performance enhancing hormones on our cows."
